We first featured Shaun’s Holden Calais back in 2012 where the VP was powered by a sneaky Holden 5L turbo engine running on straight LPG fuel. Whilst the car may still look the same, changes underneath include a boost switch from turbo to blower in the way of a Cadillac sourced LSA crate engine. Shaun has completed all of this at home including the change to a Turbo400 transmission. Tuned by Accelgarage the current combo is barely tickled and puts out around 440 rear wheel horsepower. This was Shaun’s first time at the track and the results surprised even himself.
