Ford XY drifter ~ #LStheWORLD

In Drift, Video by fullboost

Built over a 12 month period, James Mackie’s Ford XY has certainly attracted a lot of interest at aussie drift events. The unconventional drifter was originally intended to be powered by a Ford turbo six, however a GM LS1 engine and gearbox ended up being a cheaper option to get the car up and running.

The engine itself is still a 5.7L displacement with the main modifications being a baffled sump and VCM3 camshaft package that makes around 360hp to the tyres. A T56 gearbox is also fitted along with a Rip Shifter.
