Jared’s Volkswagen Golf R was back at Heathcote after new SSP Sidewinder DSG clutch plates were fitted. The factory DSG gearbox still remains as does the stock internal 2L engine. Increase in power largely comes from an APR stage 3 upgrade featuring a Garrett GTX2867R turbocharger. Jared’s best time to date is a 10.56 ET driving the car over 200kms each way to and from the track.
