Spotted on the net this week is Jeff’s super cool Subaru EZ30 powered (3L turbo six) Impreza WRX.
“A number of people have asked me what my Turbocharged Flat-6 swapped WRX sounds like… Here is a video driving up Maryhill Loop Rd. Forgive the slow driving, as this was my first time on this road. Boost is set at ~16psi in this run as a good starting point on a new road. Next time I’ll run the 24psi map. ;)”
“Car is a 2002 WRX with an EZ30R (Gen 3) motor swap. Engine was rebuilt with Supertech 8:1 forged pistons, Pauter rods, Supertech valves, springs and retainers, as well as a custom manifold system to feed the 35R turbocharger. ECM is a Vipec V88 (Link G4+). This motor has been in the car since 2008, and runs E85 all the time. Gearbox is a JDM 6-speed manual”
