8s on IRS | LS3 turbo Calais

In Drag, Video by fullboost

After running as quick as 9.37 on a stock internal LS1 engine and a 9.0 on a stock LS3 V8 engine, Dave Rickard’s Holden VT has recently received an upgrade in the way of boost friendly forged internals thanks to the team at NextGen Racecars. This was Dave’s first time out on the new engine and the old Calais didn’t disappoint. Boost comes from a Garrett GT47 turbo while interestingly the standard IRS rear end is holding up including the factory stock driveshafts!
