After running multiple 7-second passes, Andrew Darby’s Holden V8 just may have found the limit of the factory Holden 2-bolt block. The 355 stroker still retains cast iron cylinder heads with boost coming from a Garrett GT55 turbocharger.
This time out the guys were attempting to push over 1200 wheel horsepower approaching 40 pounds of boost and it’s safe to say the ‘plastic’ block didn’t take to it too well!
