HSV V6 turbo | The LS eater

In Drag, Video by fullboost

A long forgotten Holden Special Vehicle, the VT series factory supercharged V6 was good for around 240hp from the factory.

George of Pro Flow Fab and Dyno has turned his into one of the quickest V6 street cars in Australia. Ditching the stock Eaton blower in favour of turbo power, George got the V6 into the ten second bracket using the internally stock L67 engine.

Since then the engine has been rebuilt with boost friendly internals and a larger Borg Warner turbo and a custom Holley Hi-Ram intake. The stock IRS rear end is still in place. The XU6 does not hold an appropriate safety ticket however so George was only able to attempt a couple of passes, but impressively the car is quicker than many boosted LS1’s…
