At 2.7L the Toyota 3RZ engine is certainly on the bigger side of 4-cylinders, fitting into Chris Tait's S14 200SX as a great conversion. Making around 1300hp, the 3RZ still retains the factory block and crank and spins upwards of 10,000rpm. Spooling a larger Borg Warner S500 88mm turbo @ 45psi boost is made easier thanks to an 11:1 compression ratio running on methanol fuel while cooling is taken care of via a PWR liquid intercooler and radiator.
