Jamboree 2010 OKE020 wins Modified 10.52010 Sport Compact Jamboree.
Scott Hoffman's awesome 2JZ Toyota Corolla runs back to back flat eights on 275 radials. Scott also qualified number one in a 10.5 slick tyre field.
GARY Young marked his return to the Australian Performance Car Championship after a season's absence with victory in round one at Wakefield Park circuit, near Goulburn, today.
Driving a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 8, Young comfortably won the round's two races - an 18-lap sprint and 36-lap reverse-grid feature - from two-time champion Mark King in a similar Mitsubishi.
Peter Floyd brought his Holden HSV GTS home third in race one, while Barrie Nesbitt, in an HSV Coupe, picked up the final podium spot in race two.
It was a good recovery for Nesbitt, who failed to finish race one after mechanical problems sidelined his Donut King car.
Race two saw a close contest from the reverse-grid start between Floyd, Young, King and Nesbitt.
It lasted until lap 17, when Floyd dropped out with a broken tailshaft on lap 17, and then Young broke away from the group with a super-quick pit stop on lap 21.
Victorian Mark O'Connor was the most successful of the newly-eligible Lotus Exige entries, taking fourth place in race one.
Series newcomer Anthony Loscialpo made a clean sweep of qualifying and both races in his Holden HSV GTS, but teammate Jim Pollicina was forced to retire his HSV in race two, after a clash with Graham Alexander's Lancer off the start.
