Nice car man.
What mph did you get on that pass?
Here are some pics of my little blue EJ ute.
I started developing a modern supercharger kit for the Holden 202 based around a Sprintex supercharger. The kit has been quite a progression and culminated in 305Hp 315Ftp and all at only 8psi, non intercooled and 5700Rpm.
All standard Holden parts have been used, factory 12 port head, starfire rods, VK intake.
Street driven it runs a manual Trimatic with 2800 stall and a shortened 3.08Lsd. This setup gives 2500Rpm @100kmh and less than 14Lt per 100km(if driven easily)
In this form we went to Calder and ran a 12.97sec 1/4mile off the trailer with ET streets being the only change from its daily form.
This engine was built over 16 months ago and has done in excess of 200 pulls on a Superflow 902 dyno, over 8 full days, with no ill effects.
Hope this is of interest to those who have a like of the older cars, and proving you can breath some serious life into these old engines.
Soon full details of the project and kits will be able to be accessed at

We ran again at the Chev nationals and posted a 12.88@107.6MPH. Crossed the line in 2nd, as we are running a trimatic with 3.08diff. Will play with tyre size and see if she has a bit more, I am unable to get under 1.9sec 60ft with 2800 convertor and the 3.08gears with a 26inch et street.
Still very happy with the times with this gearing.
Here are some videos of pass and in car. Enjoy

Neat car mate.

East bound and down
Decent times with freeway gears mate![]()
Am setting up some small wheels to get RPM up and use 3rd gear, should be able to gear it with tyres alone to have it cross at 6000rpm, should make a reasonable impact on ET and 60ft.
Here is one solo pass at Calder showing that a better gearing would help the 60ft, I am only leaving at 2500.
