all i need is the box with the brains in it.. wheres the best place in melb to get one!!

tell meeeeeeeeeee

i dont need the best of everything, i dont play games and i dont really watch movies or anything on it.

all i need is something that works and is reliable. (80gig HDD, 2.5ghz processor, 1gig ram, prefer something pentium after these amd hassles)

i have a athlon xp2400+ w/ 512mb ram and 40gig HDD. its good, but its just too unreliable, crashes all the time!!

I dont know of a place in Melb but you will find they dont make 2.5ghz computers anymore.

You should be able to get a 3.4ghz, 1gb ram and all the bit for a bit under a grand.

For what you want out of it, just put another 512 ram chip in it and do a Windows re-install and it'll run fine mate.

im out of touch with them lol i got one at home from dell a few months ago for the olds and that is pretty good.

this pc has MASSIVE hardware conflicts, i dont know if its the video card, the motherboard or the hdd or something else, but its NEVER been right, and ive done everything to try and resolve it, tried other cards and shit, but its always had problems. there is no way id bother fucking around with this one again.

might go take a look at some pc store on this glorious melbourne day
