I have been looking at options for summernats and each year i see semi's which take about 8 or so cars on them and i was wondering if any one has a contact or knows a rough price to get a car from melbourne to canberra.
I would drive but the worry about breaking a small part has made me think about other options.
Any help would be great.

Thanks for the reply.
the car is an 84 camaro street/strip 383 t700 9"
I am looking at getting a few cars to go up on a truck which saves towing up
i called ceva and its around 550 per car so they told me and better if they fill the whole truck which has 8 spots.
Any way you could help?

i saw a couple of CEVA trucks last year on the way to the 'nats. they were fully enclosed on a truck, that would be your best option, there are a few places around that do it.

thanks for all your help. ceva seemed like a good option and they said if we could fill a truck it would be a much better deal.

the drama you will probably run into with cev or patricks or the like is they dont like to let owners drive the cars on and also normally they go from depot to depot etc. we use lurches towing in melbourne. he has towed our cars to ingham, canberra, adelaide etc all at awesome prices you deal with him and he is the driver too. he will stay at summernats or where ever and you help load and unload your car for safety of your pride and joy. he's a top bloke give him a buzz for a price. specify the amount of cars your talking too.
cheers james
