Twincam Turbo XF Falcon

This is my xf, my brother built it for me for my birthday. :) many thanks :)



Started out as a plain brown stock xf falcon. Car was then slowly stripped by my brother and painted dodge viper blue. My bro prepped the car and then had it sprayed. I made an exhaust manifold, dump pipe and cooler pipes for it, threw a hybrid front mount we had lying around.

Turbo - GT35/66, .86 rear housing
Tial 44mm external gate
Hybrid front mount
3inch exhaust
3inch intercooler pipes
haltech ecu gettin installed in a couple weeks.
bosch 044, 600cc injectors

car should be finished by the end of January ;)

Im in NSW and the car has never been raced, its not even running yet, should be done hopefully by the end of january if all goes to plan :)

slowly, jsut got the new bell housing as the old one was wrong, few lines to sort out and injectors to go in, wire up comp and done.

Thanks for the offer for the magazine, but the car wont be ready for a month at least :(

Car is now running, just to sort out a problem with the box/convertor and get it tuned.

Very nice car mate, i'm a big blue oval fan, loved the x-series, i noticed that the barra you have looks like the atmo(non-turbo) in early photos, is it a XR6t eng or a atmo?
Is it stock internals? What do you plan to replace internally?
What power figure are you aiming for?

Im looking to do basically the same thing to my XF as you have done with the engine conversion. except as yet it wont be a turbo. I just wanted to know if you had to do and modifications to make the motor fit and if you did what are they? Also, just wanted to know about the transmission and diff, if you had to change them and what you changed them to?

Its a metal bulge, welded it on.

As for the area, im not from the above area, so its all good, was only visiting for a while. But thanks anyways ;)

running an ems 8860 which cant control the vct, spewin but ohwell.

dunno what mounts its running, they not custom though.

yeah JETXR had the same problem with his wolf, he couldnt control the cams with it and has always had problems with that..
