rocker clearance

can anyone help?
350 chev,afr 1054 heads crane f260 solid cam,1.55 od springs changing roller rockers from crane 1.5 ratio to comp cams 1.6 ratio.the 1.6 rollers hit the spring retainer,the 1.5 ones were all good any sugestions:confused:

Are they the same brand rocker? Do you run lash caps?

If you are using shaft/pedestal rockers. Run a shim under the rocker pedestal to increase height/clearance and then use the same thickness lash cap to keep the geometry correct...

If you are using stud rollers you are pretty stuffed. Longer pushrods + lash caps will fix it... More expensive option.
