312ci Holden V8 Street/strip nitrous
Block: Turbo pattern, .030” oversize, torqueplate bore and hone, alinehoned with main caps spray welded for better fit, ARP Main and head stud kits, O ringed deck, deck machined to increase comp ratio. All deburred valley and external casting marks removed. 10.1:1 Comp ratio
Rotating Ass: Holden STD stroke crank, .010/.010, deburred and shotpeened, polished. A9X ‘X’ rods, fitted and resized with APR wavelock 7/16th bolts, beams polished then shotpeeded fitted with Forged flat top pistons with tapered piston pins, Childs and Albert fileback rings, gapped to suit nitrous. Using King and ACL bearings. Fully balanced from pullys to flexplate. Powerbond steel balancer, Magnum 3mm flexplate, custom Gilmore drive pullies.
Intake: Brand New VN heads, ported and flowed 510hp. Ferrea stainless steel valves 2.02”in 1.60”ex, Crane double valve springs, machined retainers and locks, and fitted valve seals. 160lb on the seat pressure, 360lb over the nose. Custom soild flat tappet cam with Crane lifters.
Specs: 254deg@.050” 550” lift ground on 110deg lobe centres, degreed in with 4deg advance.
Yella Terra bolt on adjustable rockers, Trend one piece pushrods, polished tappet covers with -10 fittings welded to the front for breathers.
Torquepower highrise single plane manifold with a Holley 750HP series double pumper carby.
Extras: New water pump, new JP cast iron oil pump, HEI dissy rebuilt and regraphed for this combo, 10mm leads, NGK indexed plugs, High Energy 6.5L Sump with modified pickup.
Other then the block, crank and rods EVERYTHING ELSE IS NEW PARTS.
Engine has been prelubed but has not been run. All receipts, clearances, build photo’s available to see. Built for nitrous, will make easy 400+hp.
