Hey guys.
My name is Aaron, but my friends know me best as Azzy. I own three cars at the moment, all projects of mine, two of which are on the road.
My cars are as follows:
-1978 Triumph 2500S: More mods then you can poke a stick at.
-1976 Triumph Dollomite 1850: Mostly stock but very different.
- (Current Project) 1990 VN Formula Clone (Actually an S pack but same diff)
I'm mad on cars, and other than the obvious, I've also done turbo builds on Holden rodeos, I restored a Fergy tractor with my father and did a full resto on his Mini Moke Californian which runs front Morris 1100 callipers and rotors (inverted).
I joined this site to perhaps get into the learning circle of the mid series commodores.
The Formula Clone is a bit of a bitsa. It's running a series 2 3800 with the mandatory cold air intake and K&N filter, and a 3 inch ebay excuse for an exhaust (lord forgive me, I bought it like that).
Interior will be VP Calais Peanut Butter, exterior has basically a VN SS kit sourced for a mere 250 bucks, still need the rear spoiler however, and a set of rear wheel arch extensions off a VP calais or possibly a VQ.
Plans are to get it painted in about 6-8 weeks time in a two tone red on black with black 17" ROH wheels which I have already. then as time and budget permits, cams, full 2.5 inch mandrel bent cat back exhaust with either Geenie or Pacemaker headers, still keen on pacemaker tho, umm other than that I'm looking into custom tuning a chip for my ecu, or leaving it, not too keen on huge power, as she's being built to ride very low and slow, kinda like a cruiser.
Other future, or "yay I'm rich" plans include:
-Custom fabbed full stereo
-Airbags
-K frame 5ltr and 5speed convert
-80 litre tank
perhaps change the rear to a VQ look alike? I mean it's kind of a cliche now, but who can argue that it looks cool.
Cheers for reading guys, I'll have some nice Photoshop pics for you soon if you're keen to check her out.
