Need to find a program to edit

Hey guys.. does anyone know of any free programs as i have a couple of video clips and i don't want the ending last 2-3seconds of it. Is there a program which i can use to cut off the last 2-3 seconds and save it???? Cheers!

windows movie maker is the quickest and basic way to go about it and can trim and all that, should be one in your xp or vista if thats wat u use

if the video is off a phone and it's in the crappy mp4 or 3gp crappy formats you may need to convert to a mpeg or something then run it through windows movie maker.
