Hello every one!
I'm a South African, and hav been a member of this forum for a while but hav never posted or replyd on any threads. I like reading em.
I'm astonished by all your rides and articles, funny though. Back here in South Africa everybody wants to have the newest and most expensive cars and almost everybody drives either a golf 5 gti or a e46 M3 or mercedes. What i like about the Australian culture is that you don't care about new fast cars coz you go ol school and spend lots of time and money fixing them up, and that you are much more responsible on the roads than us South Africans.
I had the opertunity to visit Australia a couple of years back and I regret coming back to my country.
I only have good things to say about Australia, its people and its culture. Your racing scene is also absolutely brilliant, most of your streetlegal cars thats been turbo'd runs in the low 9s and high 10s. Our cars here does 12-13s then everybody things "oooooo thats fast" we do however have one fast car that i know of thats in the 9s but its not street legal.
My employer has a dragracing fiat uno, the following mods hav been done, 1600 Toyota Rsi (forged pistons, conrods etc) but still 81mm bore that leaves it 1600, done the cams, blueprinted & gasflowed thecylinderhead, T4 hybrid turbo with a Nitro kit. He had it on the Dyno Thursday last week and made someting in the 386kw (517Hp) @ the wheels.
But to get to the end the story, I Love everything about Australia and specialy the racing scene.
