G'day all
I have a couple of questions about the 2 different types of Multipoint injection manifolds
As you would know the old type had the intake at the bottom of the manifold on the front passengers side
And the new type has it on top in the middle
sorry i don't have pictures
Do they interchange
Reason is i have to replace the engine in my 89 fairlane and i want to put a ED xr6 engine in there or even an EF if possible
Now the ED motor is the same and i know will fit
But
I just don't know what would need changing to fit the EF motor as it has the high intake position
Now im not after a power increase its just if i have to spend money on an engine i may aswell put the red top motor in
So if you can shine some light on this subject i would appreciate it
