Hey Everyone,
I have a 93 EG civic sedan and I've been wanting to do this conversion for a long time, but never had the resources or knowledge to do it, and as for searching forums on countless performance sites, they're all just speculations and children guessing No REAL HARD FACTS.
IMAGINE a VR4 engine and drivetrain conversion..Both cars are similar in length. (18cm difference)
Similar in width. (5cm Difference). Custom mounts are gonna have to be Fabbed up as well I know but Im just hoping the VR4 driveshafts, Diffs etc can be used instead of fabricating those as well .
The civic already has 4 wheel discs so no need for conversion there.(Although will have to upgrade anyway) And suspension etc will come later.
There are people who have used this engine/drivetrain conversion in other cars less compatible than mine so surely it can be done.
Can SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME! or point me in the diection of someone who can.
Thank you

I guess like most people would I'm quesitoning why you would do this?? Just buy a Lancer GSR and save yourself a tonne of cash. Even if you did the conversion it would also have very low resale value.

Building your dreams: Dreams to go fast.... going fast is cheaper and safer off track, go the non registrable race car..... no need to worry about emission/sound laws, its just better!

Keep civic as daily run around, the minute you start your project you can say goodbye to your car for a good year AT LEAST by the sounds of this idea.

With the money you save buy a non registrable GSR and go to town on that and make it your track car.

no point destroying a civic and a lot of money when you can keep the civic and still cost the same as buying a track car.

This way you have a car that doesnt hurt as much when parts fail, which they will, as well as having a daily.
