hi, i have heard of many people fitting 304 injection onto a 308...

i have neva seen it done but always hear of it happening sumwer...

that got me thinking if u can do it to a 308 i should b able 2 do it 2 my 253

i have an LH torana
253ci
3 speed trimatic
2 barrel holley

i also have a smashed VP ss compliments of a mate who crashed it

wat would i need to do? is it worth it? if anyone can help me with anything
eg. wiring diagrams for vp, or just anything to do with the matter wen its done ill find u all and show u the finished project lol

Dont even bother with a 253. You already have a complete inj 304, just use that and then you have alot more to work with if you choose too down the track

yea the rest of the 304 will b built up over the 3 years that im on my P's

but id really like 2 do sumting differnt with my 253 untill i can put a 304 inj in a 2 door

Not worth the (look at what I did with my 253) Man it's not just heads you have to change the cam in the 253 + exhaust(you will have to do that anyway). Only thing is the gear box. The 304 will be turbo bolt patten not trimatic. If ya wan't to use the 304 in a 2 door then leave it for that and look for a good 308 to put in your LH. Don't do anything to ya 253 it's just not worth it. Seen many that have been there done that and were spewing. But it's up to you so good luck with what ever way you go.
