is it just me or do they look like an Astra
No i think your right there mate, i was looking at that photo and thought they looked like another car but couldnt quite figure which one.
Now that you have said an Astra i think thats it, must have come from the same design house.

I don't really think it looks a great deal more modern than the VZ. From certian angles, there's aspects of the headlight area that looks very similar to the BA Falcon, or Felcon as you South Aussies say :p

i like the flaired gards tho
I have the new 6.0-litre Astra in the driveway right now
Lucky it came with a full tank :D
even has the same rego plate
Sweet, it has the same cylinder cut technology as the Chrysler (finally)
I was getting 11.3l/100km the other night just cruising

incorrect boxer :p no DOD on these motors, holden couldnt get it to work so they just canned it, only the VZ L76 has the hardware for it
oh well... was getting down to 10.3l/100 just cruising round town. I was impressed

*cough*The white one on the far right looks like the Ford Ba a bit.
from front angle, the flared guards and SS bodykit looks really awesome.
Seeing how the HSV setup the rear taillights is very different to the Holden release which will make interesting for aftermarket rip-offs.
Has anyone had any "series 1 bugs" from driving them yet?

seen a few clubsports or something like that driving around on the weekend, and the taillights look shocking!
