After the accident at WSID with the Celica the GAS Team busily got into action and dusted off old Betty (Camrydore) and dropped the 3.2L 2JZ in her.

Betty was given a bit of a touch up with some new windows and paint job and had some test runs at Freaky Friday the day before the event.

Joe felt quite comfortable in the car with the new setup and was at the top of the tree after qualifying again. Good old Betty held up for the event and took it out in the end.

The Celica will be ready for the next event and sporting the freshly built 3.4L engine package.

Just goes to show how close the Sport Compact series is where a team is willing to go to such great lengths to keep in the points hunt!

not too sure of the amount of people there, I was at my Brothers Wedding over the weekend so missed the event...

Is that Phill's Dragster? He was saying last week that it should run 6's, well done if it is :)

Looked like another great event, wanted to come up from Melb, but need to work to pay for toys. Any numbers on the turbo rail pictured here??
