Guys,

We have added a new Small Tyre 28x9 list here.

http://www.fullboost.com.au/records.php?class=17 (http://www.fullboost.com.au/forum/../records.php?class=17)

I'm sure it's full of mistakes so please let us know any corrections, this list is not limited to rotaries btw... We will add photos in shortly.

We are also going to make three Drag Radial lists

RWD 4-cylinder
RWD 6-cylinder
AWD 4-cylinder

Thanks
Luke

Good work boys, a couple of minor corrections....

My best et is 8.202
My best mph is 168.87

Wayne's best mph is 165.7

Thanks Damien, fixed that.

__________________________________________

Just regarding the Drag Radial lists. The rules and regs for these classes have not been set. We are looking at enforcing some simple rules below.

Cars must run a full ehxuast system.
Must retain an interior (2 seats, dashboard and door trims) rear seat can be removed.

Tyre sizes are also not finalised.

Our initial thoughts are to resrict the classes too;

AWD 4 - 235mm
RWD 4 - 255mm
RWD 6 - 275mm
RWD 8 - 275mm (2 classes, aspirated and blown)
Ulimited class (this class is for an open field if you do not meet the above classes, i.e larger tyres etc)

All classes MUST run a gasoline based fuel, no alcohol.

Anyway if anyone has any thoughts regarding this then please let us know, we are open to any suggestions.

Regards
Luke

The rules sound good,as long as they are uniformed from andra to sc,from strip to strip, state to state...excelent work fb,just what we need, discusion and a plan

Cool, sounds good.
The Morpowa GSR was running methanol in its fuel when it ran the 9.56 at Townsville:)

Thanks Rob, yes my mistake :) I've altered that now.

The RWD 6 class is starting to fill out nicely.

http://www.fullboost.com.au/records.php?class=19 (http://www.fullboost.com.au/forum/../records.php?class=19)

Syd - Just to clarify, these rules have nothing to do with ANDRA or SC. I am going to look at some of the regs run in the U.S classes to come up with some basic rules such as 2 seats and a dash etc.

Cheers

hi luke

when you get a chance

the triton ute of steve boyd ran 11.32 at 128.54 mph at wsid at the test and tune 3 weeks ago on drag radials

so details are

triton ute, SR20, 11.32 et, 128.54 MPH, WSID, 275/60/15 MT drag radial.

its manual. currently its getting caged and getting a keas auto. should drop it to the 10.6 area as it sits, then the plan is for a built engine in search of high nines.

cheers

Thats understandable. But what if we notice a time. And link it to you to have a look yourself to verify.

The top times list at say ausrotary.com.au are always up to date with all the relevant info regarding rotaries. calaisturbo.com.au also for the VL Turbo scene. Just to name two.

If you have relevant proof i.e a timelsip or video link etc then that is fine yes.

nice car mate...good numbers on those tyres...should try a bigger exhaust housing e.g. 1.06 works good with 6cyls gives ya more top end charge...
keep up the good work and love the fact ur doing sumthing different :)

Hi.. I noticed that you just have 19 racers in the 6 cyl class... Can i be number 20?? Pretty Please :)

Recently i changed my stall converter and went to Willowbank for a test. I went from a 12.9 to a 11.9 on 205x50x16 Toyo R1R's. I was looking through your forum and thought i would reply. If i'm not fast enough than thats ok :)

Cheers mate, the car does get the odd negative critisism for being different. Your car is a screamer at the moment, well done.

I have now gone with the T04z turbo and a stroked RB engine that i would love to see a 9.?? pass on radials. I have stepped up to 225/50r15 drag radials now and i hope i can keep the 1.5 sixty foots :)
