r31 buildup

Hi Guys and Gals,

Got a R31 and doing a big build on it. Parts include -

RB25DET
Hi Flow Ball Bearing Replacement Turbo
Apexi Power FC
Big front mount
5 speed r33 gearbox
exedy clutch
1 piece tailshaft being made at the moment
very strong diff being made at the moment
r33 brake upgrade
tein suspension
rims and rubber to be decided later

just wondering with proper tuning and without replacing the turbo to something larger what power output do you think this would have. im hoping for around 230 - 250. In that region.

So you're highflowing the T3 turbo? It depends what boost and tune you're going to run but a mate of mine has made 240kW @ 18psi @ wheels with an internally wastegated low mount GT30 Turbo.

hey mate sounds like ur gunna have a awsome jet there, but with a t3 hi-flow i dont think that you will be able to make that sort of power most you would be able too get out of them would be about well 200rwkw, As eddy said a gt30 or some thing like a gt35-40 with a smaller exhaust housing for quick spoool thats for some serious power. but 230-250 with a hiflow t3???? please inform me if i am wrong!!!!! and u havent said what sort of turbo u are going to run so i maY be wrong.
