ford xf turbo

I have a xf ute with a 4ltr in it that runs on straight gas and has a trusty ole
t04 on it. it makes 230kw at the wheels at about 4300 revs.i have recently been given what looks like a garret gt3071, i was wondering if i would benefit from putting the compressor and cover of this onto my t04 snail as it is quite larger. i have only seen these turbo's on 4cylinders.

try and dig up the air/turbo flow graph to see how it works and also see if it suits a 4 litre-

if u have seen them on a 4 cyc-it will spool up pretty quick on a 4 litre six-but the ? is how and when will the turbo run out of steam-
