Howdy,

Unsure whether its just my media player or not but I cant view the two latest heathcote vids. It says that windows media player cant play them and in my fullboost file they come up with AVI on them and not the usual fullBOOST logo?

Is there something wrong with the vids? or my computer?

Brett

Try redownloading them, If that doesnt work. maybe grab a new media player. VCL is pretty good.

i downloaded [ fullBOOST_heathcote_071226_xmas.avi ]It would only play the audio so it has a codec i dont have..havnt tried the other ones yet.

Try re-downloading it, the file may be corrupt.

I've just downlaoded the large vid here at work and it works fine. I am not sure what you are referring to a RIFF codec? It was encoded with Windows Media 9.

http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm

Go there and get the k-lite codec pack, if it dosnt play then, then the issue is with your system corupting the file

If the MP4 vids dont work in your media player, your best bet is Quicktime (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/)(which will definitely work)

Or VLC ===> http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

VLC plays about any file format there is, WMP dosnt like some file types. In fact a recent windows update has caused some instances of explorer to crash as it corrupted WMP's avi codec (as far as i could tall anyway)

Well I dunno whats going on. I tried winamp, quicktime, windows media player... tried downloading that k-lite thing but you have to sms @ $2.50 each to muck around activating it.
