Just thought I'd show my appreciation of miss becky's latest fullboost wicked wednesday video. Loved the editing at the start and some really clear long shots of a range of cars.
Keep up the good work.

love the vids, but why the change to Quicktime miss becky? windows media player is better i think.
Miss Becky has moved to the dark side and is using a Mac :) . We'll sort out if we can perfect a more common codec.

I didnt find it an issue with the quicktime... unsure whether it was that or her camera but it seemed alot clearer than other videos. I enjoyed seeing the whole race too not just snippets.

Hey guys :) Thanks for the great comments from you all on my video. It is nice to see that people appreciate and enjoy checking out my vids.
Yes, I have moved to the dark side and am using a mac and final cut pro now. I am still working towards finding the codec which gives the best quality along with a decent file size. I spent alot of time looking at it and the mp4 using the H264 code is the best that I have found so far.
Anyway, thanks for watching and I will keep them coming...
Thanks :)

Miss Becky try the Divx Pro codec and optimise it for YouTube (see hints and tips on YouTube site).
Other than that try the Compressor suite in Final Cut Studio.
Why would you optimise it for YouTube, they are highly compressed as its intended for streaming, which ours aren't.

avi or mpeg because its suitible for most programs

Good call, I was thinking of MBs YouTube movies rather than fullboost downloads.

download a better divx codex pack that allows mp4 then.
My media player plays it fine
Quicktime is a free download.

sorry to be ignorant but where is the link to these vids?

After seeing the latest vids dun in media player i have changed my mind, Quiktime is much better the picture is so much clearer and your videoing is much better to because you film the hole run and not just the burnout like alot of the other vids from heathcote and Calder.Keep up the good work.

I have one gripe! lol.
I just watched the most recent one (and Ive noticed this in a few actually) that two cars are lined up and one is mental and one is stock. The stock one leaves the line first so the camera follows that.
Eg: Nuts VL turbo spooling on the line... Vs Stock EA falcon.
Im all gee'd up ready to see this thing launch a wheel up in the air but instead im watching a stock EA falcon pull away at a snails pace!!
I know you cant predict the future but you can tell whats going to go nuts most of the time and whats a stocker.
Hope you find my criticism constructive, I still love your vids!
Brett
Since i don't have windows XP or Vista i can't view mp4. (yes, i'm still running windows ME ) Having it as an mp3 will suit a wider range of users.
Is there anywhere else that these vids can be viewed?
MP3 is an audio format not video.
Considering your operating system is 8 years old, and in IT that equals about 40, you really need to throw that box in the bin :o
Harsh but realistic advice :)

It's drag racing, you always go with the leading car or else you end up panning all over the place and the video look ridiculous ;)
You aren't always to know how fast the other 'slow' car is either.
oops, yea mp3 is incorrect :D
And yes i know i should upgrade.
But then again, it's like comparing carbs to injection......the quickest NA petrol cars in the world run carbs, so i guess prehistoric technology isn't so bad afterall :p

yeah but carb's still do the job they need to. your computer doesnt at all.. im amazed it has the interwebs on it! :p maybe its more like saying you're needing to make 1000hp and all you have is a 2bbl or a set of vl turbo injectors.
you cant get quicktime to run on your box? would it really matter seeing as its probably connected to a monochrome monitor and blasting out of the onboard pc speaker ;)
I need a new computer.....i get the point farken.
