i will post some pics upp too
depending on if u got ur P's after july of this year, u can do anything to ur car or do nothing, but my best bet for that model is either turbo it, or if ur a mechanic and lucky enough to find a cheap B16, get one of those. a loophole of the new P laws allow u to upgrade ur cars engine to anything else in that models range.

nah its all good im gettin my ps in january so im all good for the ruless
cant wait :)
bein a non vtec ive herd theres more bottom end power!! and considering it is a non vtec ive run off vs commodores, n xr6s..she does go hard for her size and the work thats been put into her
sorry, have u got ur ps yet, coz if u havnt u cant mod.
and whoever told u bout the non vtec having more low end grunt is kinda full of it, up to bout 6000 rpm the engines are pretty similar, the cams are preety close. the dif for vtec is that the seond half of the cam kicks in after bout 6000 which adds the power, thats y u see hardly any diference in torque, but a heap more kw, when comparing vtec to non vtec.
and beating those cars is either due to ur car not waying anything or them not actually trying coz ur in a civic.

you cant really do much with a naturally aspirated non performance engine. You need to spend lots of $$$ to even get small gains. Just save your money, trust me.
