cool Down

what do you dudes do to cool your car down between races? on the dyno my car used 3pound xtra to makr the same power when it was hot(13bt),this is cheap power that is lost.how effective are the air blowers with ice in front etc,any help welcomed

shit,i never thought of that.obviously no one knows or is trying to keep it close...i will try my idears and see how it cools.looking forward to drag wars,hope it dosnt get hot for my mate,good luck all

opening your bonnet is the pretty easy one. i've also see guys using a spray bottle spraying water over the intake parts of the engine. just dont put too much water in the engine bay....you dont want to drop water on the track, or worse still, crack something by cooling it down too quickly.

yer cheers twilight,but is your car not fastest on the first run?so if u had your car at that temp all day,when your dialled in,or when the cars are in the finals!!!,with the temp low,it will run faster ...more horse power!im talking about the finals when horse power is most needed! good luck with your bonnet up
