not bad mate, needs a lil TLC, other than that the panels look pretty straight. and those rims take em off and throw em as far as u can lol. good luck with it :)

Specs:
Model: VL calais.
Year: 1986
Colour: Maroon over light gold.
Wheels: shitty 17s soon to be the new 19s.
Suspension: superlow king springs front and rear with monroe gt gas shocks
Diff: Open wheeler disc brake diff.
Exhaust: standard headers (non extractors) 2.5inch cat back system, but i have lukey cat back system to be fitted once i get extractors.
Motor Work: new 8mm leads and irradium plugs, and pod filter.
Interior/Ice: wood grain steering wheel, kenwood cd mp3 player, pioneer rear speakers with clarion covers, christmas tree neons under dash and seats. and may i add a little cute tacho that cost me $120 brand new that u can change the colours on lol.


at the moment its only automatic but i do have a vl 5spd conversion ready to instal just need a new clutch kit.

cheers matey i will do lol notice u havnt seen the other side yet haha it has 2 peices of the plastic door moulds missing, and 1 of the eyelids are bent so yea need and eyelid and mouldings for now

the car u can see in the garage is a vh with a mild worked 253, lol its my gfs dads car, there family are car nuts haha and a kingi in the car port waiting for a 308 lol i only own the ice blue 1 and the calais the white one is my gfs mums car but the ice blue 1 is for sale if any1 is keen just private msg me or something, not sure if im aloud to sell things on a normal thread so ill keep it at that.

hey guys starting on the 5speed manual conversion this weekend, i got a brand new RPM PBR heavy duty clutch kit from my local repco for under 300, well including oil n spihet bush and seal just made 300 but yea, also brought a motor for me to build up for the car so yea.

auto is nearly out, just 2 hole bolts to go then the 5spd shall be in, and possible 2 way lsd diff coming, and rebuilding jatco to suit 500hp :D

cheers mate, yea i payed 2300 for it but yea shes in the process of manual conversion atm so yea, might spend some more money on her this weekend dunno yet need to do some more body work, but mainly need to start building this other engine i brought, send ya pics through.


and to that other block what u mean a garnish??? front end??? the door moulds??? if so door moulds cheap as chips, front end as for that i know a few blokes who have them so yea, and warnings for calais drivers, dont have ur popups up if ur racing, the damage u see to mine i think??? was done due to speeds excess of 160km and it ripped str8 off it has happened to a few mates aswell.

ye mate i paid 3700 4 my calais series 1 original needed tlc to but was to far gone so i js bought a series 2 blue over silver looks good now.It was a shame wat it lookd like when i got it but engine turbo an diff was all rebuilt 1 year ago so it was worth the money eaney way. engine is original from calais series1 now in series2 vl non t factory.

cheers matey, i just succesfully completed a full manual conversion, runs a beaut and so happy with it so yea, started off to be a bit of a cnut but then got easier now shes driveable and its looks better for some reason to just need to get my exhaust welded up and a set of lukey extractors, and some tyres for my mags and she will be a pearler.

got my grill finally yesterday, looks 10 times better now with\out the whole in the front, so now i can tick that problem off my list and concentrate on the rest lol:D
