Hi Car lovers,
On the 29th of September 2007 Benaraby raceway will be holding its second Nostalgia Day/Night drag meet.
With last years event marked as real sucess the Benaraby Raceway club is hopping for an even better event this year.
Schedule
Gates Open:
11.00am Saturday ( Arrival at track on Friday PM is permitted )
Scrutineering:
11.00am - 3.00pm
Qualifying:
1.00pm - 4.30pm
Racing:
5.00pm - 9.00pm

CNDRA Member Driver only:
$50 (Includes Vehicle, Driver and ANDRA Day License if required)
Non-CNDRA Member Driver only:
$70 (Includes Vehicle, Driver and ANDRA Day License if required)

Junior Fuel:
Open to mechanically supercharged, mechanically injected (NO EFI) or carbureted methanol or petrol only Front Engine Dragsters, Funny Cars and Altereds. DYO Chicago Shootout.
Gas:
Open to mechanically supercharged, mechanically injected or carbureted methanol or petrol only, USA or Australian Muscle cars and sedans only. Chicago Shootout. EFI only permitted on normally aspirated vehicles with fully enclosed bonnets (hoods), nitrous oxide permitted.
Slingshot
Multi class eliminator for Front Engine Dragsters and Altereds, normally aspirated V8's with et's slower than 9.50 1/4 mile, pre 1975 6 cylinder pushrod engine or side valve 4, 6, 8 or 12 cylinder engines. Mechanically supercharged (rootes type 8/71 maximum), mechanically injected (NO EFI) or carbureted methanol or petrol only. DYO Chicago Shootout.
Vintage Gas
Pre 1970 sedans meeting current NDRA V/G regulations (6 car minimum field)
Hot Rod:
Pre 1949 and Pre 1960 USA Pick Ups. "Dial your own" Elimination format. 11.00 seconds minimum dial in.
US Muscle:
Pre 1980 vehicles of USA origin. "Dial your own" Elimination format. 11.00 seconds minimum dial in.
Aussie Muscle:
Australian produced Falcons to XY, Holdens to HG and Chryslers to VH, some other vehicles reminiscent of the era may be acceptable on application to NDRA, (maximum 40 car field, preference given to CNDRA Members). "Dial your own" Elimination format. 11.00 seconds minimum dial in.
Street Machine:
Cars that don't fit US/M or A/M, Cortinas, Toranas, Commodores to VC, Falcons to XF and Chrysler to CM, some other vehicles reminiscent of the era may be acceptable on application, 11.00 seconds minimum dial in.
Motorcycle:
Open to all American V Twin and Pre 1980 motorcycles.
Due to over subscribed fields, acceptance into all Brackets is at the sole discretion of NDRA.
NOTE: Qualifying or Racing format may be altered or varied at any time by race organisers.

Vehicle and Safety Requirements
Purpose built race vehicles, cars quicker than 10.99 must comply with the relevant ANDRA Class and Safety regulations pertaining to the vehicle. All entrants must be fully licenced for the vehicle and vehicles must have a current technical inspection.
Other entrant requirements:
Licence.
Divisional ANDRA Day Licence will be issued to those who do not need to hold a permanent ANDRA Drag Race Licence. You must hold a current civil drivers licence.
Protective Clothing.
* Helmets. All vehicles SLOWER than 10.99 seconds (1/4 mile) helmet to AS1698, 1974/1998 Standard.
* Long sleeved upper garment.
* Long pants.
* Covered shoes.
Your Vehicle
* Ensure all fluids can be contained within the vehicle.
* Tail shaft loops for cars running QUICKER than 12.99 seconds (1/4 mile).
* Minimum 3 point lap sash for cars SLOWER than 11.99 seconds (1/4 mile).
* Minimum 4 point harness for cars QUICKER than 11.99 (1/4 mile).
* Roll bars are required for open cars 11.00-12.99 (1/4 mile). For open cars quicker than 11.00 must have full roll cage relevant to ANDRA specifications.
Eligibility for Brackets and Entry numbers is the responsibility of the Cruzin Magazine organisation.
