This is my weekend warrior -
'71 HQ LS monaro. 350 chev, mandrel bent twin 3" exhaust, TH350 box, 9 inch. Convo Pros, tidied engine bay, retrimmed interior. Still a work in progress.

Thnx PRO.GMH, that is one hell of a car, What would look good is putting HJ fluets in the gards. Or cutting along the grain and put Ford LTD tail lights in the bumper. Those are just thoughts.

You cant be serious. HJ Flutes into a HQ? Ford LTD tail lights in the bumper? Its not the 80's anymore.

Fullboost pointed out one of the pages above but that's why not many have posted photos cause we have allready put them up on 2 other places. Have a look at them there are some nice cars there.

How many Monaros do you see with with the fluets and tail lights...........Not many, hay..... A major part of car building is being different.

Because you dont mix and match flutes through different model monaro's. Currently I can put mine back to standard if I want to sell as its worth more money that way. Those rear bars have all been melted down to make original bars now. Worst invention ever.

corect me if i'm wrong but HQ's have three horizontal lines in the gards, plus HJ monaros are worth more than a "hQ" there are only a limited amount of HJ's, Hey But all this was just my Opinion.:p

HQs and HJs have different flutes.
Putting XY GT parts onto an XW GT isnt going to raise its value. But as you said, its just your opinion.

PROGMH dont you dare even consider those stupid ideas.............HQ's are worth more the HJ's anyway and as you said returning back to standard its worth more...

there were only 600 HJ coupes made wouldn't that make them worth more?
if you don't belive me type in holden monaro in wikipedia...apart from these last words i am over this....it was just an idea, lets leave it at that.:)
