my mate was telling me about this vl, he said done a nice stong burnout then something let go when he was about to take off

blew a turbo seal or something to do with one of the turbos i wouldnt be supriced if this car takes some sort of record these boys no how to run numbers on small rubber

did u say they are not near an 8.0 sec run??? they should be gettin close concidering eddy tassone has run and 8.1 in his tt vh v8 bit more weight in that then a vl id think, but i dunno lol im pissed atm so yea

they should get in the 8 second zone, maybe a high 8, but i doubt an 8.0, the car isnt prepped to to a pass like that...

well it turns out its got the mumbo for a hi 8 as it is right now the driver does not have a balls to plant it yet

ummmmmmmmmmm its been racing on wisd every wensday like i said car can run a hi 8 right now with the right driver but the owner is still getting ust to the car

Why not ?? There are cars in the states running well into the 7's on a true 28X10.5 tyre at somewhere around 180 mph

spoke with the owner at jamboree and he said he was planning to sell it later on and continue on with his rotor project. who ever does buy it will have fun in it :)

It will be very interesting to see if it can knock off the quickest streetcar time which is 8.54 at 161.29 mile an hour set by the jpc racecar awhile ago.

Considering the gear it has (twin cam, gforce) and so on and Pac's skills it should have no dramas going into the low 8's and beyond

It will take someone with some big balls to drive it though !!

There is no 'VL STREET CLASS' anyway

If your refering to the Fullboost VL records it doesn't state anywhere that the cars in the VL list are 'STREET CARS' so get over the fact that some people know how to use Methanol and some cars are tubbed :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

there is no 'class', so i guess it will just mean people will have to be more specific in their signatures on calaisturbo.
