Driveshafts...

I've got a stock VL exec. and was wondering if its a 2 piece drive shaft? i'm getting a knocking feeling/sound every so often from that area and wondering if its a bearing that might need replacing. help would greatly appreciated.. im scared of the shaft locking up and tearing thru the tunnel!

VL's have 2 peice tailshafts

Replace the centre bearing:)

if you can, take the driveshaft out and see how much front to back play there is in the shaft. a new one shouldnt move much and will move very slow, a worn old one will be sloppy as all hell and be almost falling apart.

I got a new c/o unit a few months ago, was in the 200 range.
