Will i hav 2 run trans brake. Ta flange was setup 4a vl manafold but has recentley been rebuilt wth bigga compcover an dump pipe changed to 4inch an bigga flange not shore wat size tho.An how will a rebuild kit wth acl pistonS not forges an cooper head gasket handle the extra boost. ive got a spare turbo head 2 use withit aswell but not shore as wat work ishould get dun 2 it. I hav a microtech lt10 aswell will it work good wth the gt45? TANKS 4 REPLYS

bro to run that turbo there is no point really having it without a forged engine and all the goodies that is a serious turbo here by sounds of ur engine its just over kill tis turbo wont be using it at its potential sell it and by gt35/40 that will still run u into the 9's

What do you have at the moment?? even a GT35/40 will require a spacer on the factory exaust manifold to fit. If its your first car and you have never experianced a strong VL turbo id work your way up. They can be a dangerous thing. A quality intercooler and maybe a highflow that will bolt into the factory position would be a starting point, a 3inch exaust can be bought off the shelf and Microtech would be great with some mazda injectors and a good fuel pump and you will see around 270rwkw and 11sec. For a first car thats decent I think! :D

My VL is a full rebuild wth acl pistons 20,000 over not forges an not shore what brand COOPER HEAD GASKET wth 3INCH MANDREL all ta way ,COOLAH 600.300.75MM, LT10, HIFLO T3/T4, AFTAMARKET REG, STOK PUMP AN INJECTORS, 4.11 GEARAS WTH SPOOL, STOK AUTO, TATS IT an it made 160RWKW at 85KM 10PSI then pluming kept poping off an never got fixed 4 anoter run but its all beeded up an got proper clamps 4it 2 fire away 4 anoter go:DAn a top mount aswell t3 flange

yeh mate I doubt your internals will handle a GT45. ACL pistons arnt so strong, seem to loose there tops at moderate boost, even without detonation. Best to sell it I think and get your setup running properly. With the mods you have I cant see why you wouldnt get 230rwkw, your stock injectors and pump will be the limmiting factor.
