Vince Macheda, Does anyone remember this guy?

Does anyone know how Vince Macheda died?

He drove a Black Chevy Luv Ute the number plate was ILL.

i remember when i was a little kid going out to the drags with my dad and i used to always love the burnouts that Vince Macheda had done.

So does anyone know what happened to Vince Macheda?

i think he died on October the 3rd 2003 or something like that.

Yeah he died in a car accident aged 30. His brother Ross now drives the car.

i didnt know him personaly but a good mate of mine did
vince was very well known for massive skids !!
quite often full track burnouts!!
unfortunately his life was cut short when a drunk driver left
bp bolivar road on the wrong side of the road heading towards virginia,
collided head on with him..:mad:

vince was very well known and respected figure in the drag racing comunity,
and is sadly missed by alot of people as shown at air on the vince mecheda memorial day when all his mates cruised the track in memory of him

on the day of his funeral the law looked the other way wilst alot of his mates drove their race cars in the precesion, i beleive at some stages the law stopped traffic to let them all go through together
