b4 1999 FRUSTRATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOOST ISSUES

i purchased a b4 liberty 99, i had the gearbox out and now that is all good. new problem is i have no boost at all on either turbo, all vaccum lines seems to be on. this only happened after the gearbox was fitted. when i put my foot down it feels like they want to kick in but they don't and if i keep my foot on the accelerator for about 5 secs trying to get them working the check engine light comes on and stays on. if you turn the car off and restart the engine is back off

Find out what code or codes are coming up. These engines are a bitch at the best of times. The factory ECU can also be reflashed. Where are you located?

ok this is all sorted, it ended up being a heap of vacumm leads not on properly or at all.
i have a new issue which is it feels like it is missing then you have to give it a real boot full for it to take off. i have just changed plugs and leads and still no change, then engine light comes on every now and then. would i be right in saying a coil issue????

Does the idle search up and down when coming to a light ? possible Mass Air flow Sensor, pretty rare to be coils, try resetting the ecu anyway.

Edit : also check vacuum hoses, make sure they are running to boost solenoid etc

is the boost higher than standard?
close the plug gap a little.(not sure how much, say if its .7 go .6) The spark maybe getting blown out
easy to do and if no change go back to the original setting
