liberty b4 99 model

hi all
newby here.
i have just purchased a 99 b4 manual.
i am having problems of the 1st turbo not giving me boost, it was working fine one day then i had it in to get the gear box out and since i got it back i have no boost on the 1st turbo, it is throwing error 66. the reason i am on this is my father in law is a mechanic and doesn't know enough about the subarus and the local dealer is useless as well as its a 23 yr old mechanic that used to work for mitsubishi.
pls help in desperate need.
is it just a vaccum hose problem??????

thanks for the reply,
that problem is sorted but i might go see him cause the car is giving me grief.
now when i take off it p*sses and farts then decides to kick the turbo in while the check engine light comes on and off.
i have replace plugs and leads but still no help
is this a coil problem??
is doing me head in
