i personally dnt own a vl, but i know of many which run the RB30ET with just a little cam, r33 box - man, highflow t3 or t4 with the t3 housing, cooler, injectors nd fuel pump, most likely like at 11-13 psi street and go to like 15 when they race, but everyones different. :)

my mates got a junk yard rb30 N/A, bolted up a T3 highflowed, standard turbo plenum, upgraded injectors not sure what size though, walbro fuel pump, autronic computer. made around 225rwkw, ran a 12.2 @ 108mph on 17psi (which is pretty dangerous for a N/A bottom end) but she's still holding up till this day so i guess he got a fluke of an engine.

I've got an 88 VLT, 5spd manual (stock clutch), cooler, bov, 3" exhaust, catch can, adj. boost (8/14psi), possibly a small cam but not 100% confirmed. Runs on VL Calais rims with G-Grid tyres. Dyno'd at 192.4rwkw, ran 13.2@109mph at Heathcote

you've got big mph for a 13.2. did u race on slick or street tyre?

raced on 215/60 R15 Bridgestone G'Grids on VL Calais rims.

Struggled for traction in 1st and 2nd. Going for true 'street' times, e.g how I drive it day to day is how I raced it.

60ft times were all about 2.3, 2.4. Not good but will be interesting to see the difference with bigger/fatter tyres on.

try 225x60x15 and set the pressure at like 18psi

thanks. I'm gettin some walky's from a mate so I will put the fatter rubber on those and see how she goes. I probably should have put the pressure down to 20psi last time but was unsure so only put it down to 30psi.

Was happy as with the MPH tho. Some 10sec V8 cars were running the same mph so she has heaps of room to improve with a better launch.
