Racing from 7pm until Midnight and no ET Restrictions - Western Sydney International Dragway is about to go Full Throttle every Friday night! (Pic: Lee Davis - Western Auto Pics)
(Sydney, NSW) One of the shining success stories in the short but spectacular history of the Western Sydney International Dragway has been the development of the off-street Drag Racing scene. That development has now seen the exciting opportunity of a new event profile within the Ferrers Road, Eastern Creek located venue’s event calendar. We are delighted to announce the addition of a new ‘Full Throttle Friday’ regular event, where the fastest street registered cars will race, every Friday night!
The addition of Friday Night off-street Drag Racing is a harder-edged extension to the already highly popular ‘Wicked Wednesdays’ in place at WSID.
Simply put, if you are a hard-core rev-head, Full Throttle Fridays are the place you need to put your ass on the grass, or make a fast quarter mile pass!
The following Full Throttle Friday Events have been scheduled:
November 3
November 10
November 17
November 24
December 1
December 8
December 15
After these initial events are completed, it is anticipated that these events will become a weekly regular feature of Western Sydney International Dragway.
What makes the Friday night racing different are several exciting aspects:
- Racing will start from 7pm and run through to Midnight – talk about ‘Midnight Madness’ and fun!

- Vehicles however must meet ANDRA Safety and Vehicle Licensing Requirements.
- A new Giant Video Screen with crankin’ PA System will play all the latest music video clips – more information on this soon!
- Bike entries welcome
- Fields cutoff at 220 participants each week.
