Just wanted to know if you are anticipating another Fullboost dvd at all..

would be good to see some tough NSW cars on there.
it was great to see some of the Vl action and get to now wahts around in vic, but theres some tough cars at wsid now regularly racing that are street driven aswell. i hear there are some ttuff cars poppin up in WA as well.
i liked the NHRA and NOPI stuff on the last one, some current stuff fomr over there would be good. the supra's are in the sevens now on street tyres.
im not keen on the drifting much but i understand you need to cater to a wider community.

Personally i thought the variety in the last DVD was spot on. Plus you added some stuff in that isn't in the run of the mill DVD, like the truck pulling segment, which i thought was tops.
forgot about the sled pulling stuff, that was cool.

that not a bad idea, i know SCG will do there usual jambo dvd, but there is heaps of other sc racing held through the year.
theres lots of different types of conversions getting around at these type of events.

American stuff is great, especially if they are going to show turbo V8 action, we will get to see al the tough street cars in the U.S. More street footage? As in watching Honda civics race? Hell no! And definately no burnouts, seen one, seen em all!

So i would love to watch some of the states finist maybe Peurto Rico 2
Street cars as mentioned by KLR are awesome and i would vote yes on cars of that standard, but i dont think fullboost wants to turn there awesome DVD into Bell St Maccas babes, Boobs and Burnouts :rolleyes: .
If the 2nd DVD is anything like the first then we are all in for a real treat :cool:

more nsw cars, a mix of tough 4s, 6s and rotors along with the turbo v8 stuff like mr mad and campisi, keep it to the aussie cars and maybe a little bout the nhra sprt compact scene!!! but no truck pulling shit! that shits booring!!!

Less American stuff.
Concerntrate more on our Aussie scene. I don't care much about the American scene and if i did i'd buy the American DVD's.
4's, 6's, rotors and V8's are all good as long as they are quick!!
I think it has to have a mix of everything to keep everyone happy
2 Hour DVD
8 X 15 minute sections
1 Drags
2 Drifting
3 Burnouts
4 American Stuff
5 Interviews
6 VL Turbo
7 Rotary
8 LS1 & XRT
Something like that
i didn't car much for the American drag racing, i mean a quick wrap up of whats going on would be ok, but it seemed to drag out too much on the first one, i'd rather that time be of aussie drags/cars etc.
The trailer pulls were ok though for something differant.
More street car/cruising/interviews/etc footage would be ok too.
Australian event footage, Summernats, Easternats, Jambo etc.

yeah some of the american racing was good, but i think grouping it all together back to back meant it was a bit too much all at once. A lot of the street tyre racing (read: 13 second street cars) and fwd racing is pretty :rolleyes:
Although sport compact is where my pashion lies, id LOVE to see some great footage from events like orlando street shootout and the outlaw 10.5 class style racing. comon luke, i know you love it too so make it happen hahaha
Drifting is boring as shit and will be DEAD as a 'sport' in a few years.
A wrap up of the sport compact aus season would be great too.
Id love to see a few workshop wrap ups (like go to bresciani/jpc/etc or somewhere like that and get them to give you a tour of the shop, how the workshop started out, where they come from in the racing scene, some specs on up and coming cars, what they look like, what they want to see from them and what they have planned in the future)
i think the extra movie section (vl turbo, rotary etc) was the BEST of any dvd ive ever seen by far. usualy its just full of outtakes from wannabe comedians or just general rubbish, but all the video compilations were great, definately keep that in there!

We'll take all of it on board.
We are also looking at doing a bit of circuit stuff, i.e the rotary Sport Sedans. The bonus footage may include a dyno clip as we have to chop it from the last one as there's only so much footage you can fit on a disc!
We do have some more U.S Pro RWD footage only, but it'll only be breif. I have a bit fo a soft sport for the outlaw V8 scene so they may be a look at that, although there's a few decent outlaw cars in the build here at the moment as well.

For the dvd : i think it'd be a good idea to keep drifting, but not heaaaps, keep drag racing, and i think it should be more australian so we can show off aussie made car stylez... yes no ? they're my personal preferences i guess..

no street drags, unless there picking up wheels, black tracking or running into walls run after run of street cars gets boring real quick.
Sports sedans sounds good, i also like drifting but i must admit there is drifting every where atm and it would be good to see some different stuff in there, maybe some of the aussie legends (i think there still called that, the mini cars with fj and willys bodies powered by yamaha(i think) engines) there cool to watch.
And what ever class replaced the hq's for pure carnage viewing.
And maybe even some footage of idiots crashing there cars, the sort of stuff you see after the driver says to the guy holding the camera "watch this, its cool" most of that stuff is piss funny.

lol hahah dude the street meets we have do sumtimes include picking up wheels and nearly every car blacktracks! the cars we cruise with are 10-9 sec cars and we sumtimes get up to about 10 of us so i can tell u now it wont be boring! im sure thers a couple guys on this forum that now what im talking about

Carnage is fun to watch, no one can argue with that....
Im just saying that (for me anyway) seeing the same sort of cars doing the same thing time and time again gets old quickly, needs a bit of variety in the drags, like top fuel, door slammer and pro stock.
last time i went up the hwy (i will assume you are talking about the princess in vic) there were no 10sec cars and the nights i did see 10sec cars they were sitting on the side of road like everyone else because of all the cops that get up and down there.

Why dont the dvd include a build up of a commodore,turboed,charged,or N/A over the next few dvd issues . and see track times as the car get finished.

Personally I enjoy the in car footage on the street. Not doing naughty things just giving it a squirt and hearing / seeing it go. Love seeing the power come on and the car just twitching out of shape.

I guess we have a lost a bit of motivation with how easy this sort of media can be duplicated now. We will not release another DVD until a suitable copyright protection program is in place. We are considering an online only version as well.

Its the fact that some people will buy 1 copy then burn 10 copies for there mates, that is the problem
It is a big piss off to spend a lot of time cuting/editing video footage to see your hard work being stolen

I hear u about the time and effort, just to have it splashed everywhere. I can honestly say, all the guys I know have just gone out and bought the og copy. Seriously if the people cannot buy the dvd and support fullboost who supports them, do we need these people in the sport? We should all support our hobby and people making it happen. We all know there are plenty that don't like our hobby !!

idea ! maybe some footage of late model cars on the salt flats lake gairdner the next event is on in march. those guys are serious speed freaks .
Hollywood still produces movies even though they get copied.
But hollywood also gets a cut of cinema takings, merchandise and then dvd sales.
No good waiting for the latest encryption methods, as soon as there released some one will have it cracked, maybe try banking on the reputation and popularity of fullboost and the first dvd by selling advertising, maybe that could cover a lot of production and then your not so far behind when sales start.
should you need to distribute these via an NZ contact (when Vol2 is produced) I volunteer my time and help for free - I have a LOT of car club contacts and there's a huge gap in the market for non-japanese speaking dvds.happy to post up pics of NZ event's i've been to as well if people are keen. modz
