Automatics and electronic shift points

Do you concider that late models with their auto shift points set by the computer rather than the drivers left arm are fair game in drag racing stakes these days?

I dont really like it, when all ya got to do is stear wheres the fun ? Racing like that might as well remove all the hassle of actually driving and get someone else to do it for ya........... or start racing slot cars
