does any one no what the fastest e-series ford is(ea-el)????, i recall a el xr6 turbo pulling about 10 seconds, there is this other el xr6 number plate (pyroay).b are they the quickest?
wat about that white EA or EB the turbo one, thers some videos on fullboost of it

i had a speak to the guy who owns the white ea that runs 10's .. he said (if i recall correctly, that he runs on 19psi) but he said he was trying to get into the 9's next calder day (which was said 3+ weeks ago or w/ever.. not sure if he has made it to 9 seconds yet)

Are you sure that was over the 1/4 and not the 1/8! I would like to see it if it ran a flat 12sec 1/4 because i think your dreaming!

fastest e series i hav seen is the mikes dyno tuning ea he ran a pb 10.0 the other night at calder
i am pretty sure the fastest e series is definately the turbo EA. the PETmod ef is in the 10's aswell.
The PYROAY el hasn't run the 1/4 as far as i know but is making a healthy 460rwkw the last time i heard.

Currently the Mikes dyno tuning EA is the fastest, however SLOWEA and TUFED6 will be finished soon, TUFED6 has 460rwkw currently and SLOWEA has 340rwkw on only 13 PSI, it'll be interesting once these cars hit the track!
PYROAY is currently for sale btw, it once ran a 13.5 a long time ago with alot less power, it'll never be the fastest eseries with the manual box he's got.

I myself have a Cortina Turbo that last week ran an 12.5@114, in full street trim, full exhaust, pump fuel, and street tyres 245/35/18's, with NO TRACTION ALL THE WAY. I am running the 4.0L XR6 engine. its fun to drive, come and say hello if you want, I hope to run quicker each time. Or blow something trying. . .

i have a DVD called serious V8's and there is a twin turbo XR8 EB running low 10s he rekons he could get it in the nines if could get some rear end grip
PYROAY has a 100 kg stereo thats why it wins SQ comps and not for pulling numbers... plus is a XE an e-series car??

I was talking about the motor, which actaully is an AU motor but virtually the same as an EL six. Its in an XE body though

that ea isn't the fastest there's an ED in adelaide that runs 8.7's at between 160-180 mph but ive only seen it out once its a pearl blue and its got a 5.6 litre winsor with a 8/92 charger on it, it puts out about 950 rwhp

Ive seen Tim with his mike's dyno's tuned car run 9.9 consistantly of late.
ok there is no definate "fastest" e-series
mikes dyno tuning's white EA is the most consistant
jim mock motorsports's red EB is also very quick
however it is impossible to know every e/t of every e-series in the country

Understand this Pyroay is no trailer baby, before it was sold to its current owner, this car was a daily driver with the 451rwkw or 427rwkw street tune. You try and put 450rwkw with more torque than you can imagine to the ground through a manual box.
The car was never built for the drag strip so its really incomparable. Well set-up suspension and a tricked up auto/stall it would be up there with the best of them.
Don't even talk about the Mock's. Fools. w00t 600.8hp so what? TUFED made 618hp before he started more work on it. The most ever recorded from Pyroay was 713hp, Ive got the article floating about somewhere.
By the way 12.5 out of a turbo 6 Corty, really isn't anything to brag about, 'Injected 250' is getting those times from an N/A cross flow and there's another n/a one floating around the same times, but I cant think of his name at the minute.

With info about him and hobbies.. listed in his hobbies was his 713hp turbo falcon with its custom paint and award winning sound system.
Thats where I got that from. I read it in black and white in an article. It started life as a JMM head than it was changed when it was rebuilt for the 2nd time.
With the reputable tuners out there, I dont know why people would waste there hard earned on JMM's over-priced rubbish.

as for jmm gear, it was using a custom head and crow stage 2 turbo grind on the first build, then switched to the jmm gear for the 2nd build.

Alright so Aaron was bullshitting when published in the article then?
I used to work for the some company as him, so naturally we spoke.
Im almost certain he didn't use the JMM gear for the 2nd build.
The only explination I can get from the 713hp is he may have meant fly wheel hp.. but that still gives it over the claimed 450rwkw.
Anyhow I cant be bothered arguing over this. I know what I read, saw and heard from Aaron.

That is awesome! take it it has a cage??? pushing 140mph in brisbane/willowbank u would need a shoot, take it motorplexs has a longer runoff area???

One must compare Apples wit Apples , whether it be a show pony or full on race car the type of application it was built for is the application it is use for.
There is a old saying "bullshit stops when the flag drops " we are talking a e-series inline 6 cylinder 3.2 , 3.9 and 4.0 litre engine and then when we go into the B-series engine the game changes again with the ever more high flowing twincam cylinder head on the 4.0Lt inline 6 cylinder.
Just remember one thing and this is a scenario if possible the highest producing horse power will get the quickest time down a well prepared quarter mile track with ideal conditions on the day. This is no new science just fact have been using the Moroso slide calculate for many years and is very accurate prediction how the vehicle will and should perform down the quart mile I'm speaking from my own experience here. I can see a debate brewing here LOL!!!

Yes drive skill comes into and a well prepared vehicle that can transfer the power down to the tarmac will produce the best results. So the question is to date who has the best time and mile per hour for quarter mile ?
