Slapper Bars

Is it better to have the end of the slapper bars hit up on the eye of the spring or continue on and hit up undere the floor. With the floor boxed in of course. I have seen so many cars extend there slapper bars past the spring eye. But have never asked anyone why they do it this way. I have also seen slapper bars bolted actually to the leaf springs instead of using the u bolts to bolt them to. Have also seen take the clamps that hold the leafs together on the back i think it is and put more clamps of front.

I know that white monaro that Peter Michael had years ago run slapper bars on it that went under the eye of the leaf spring.

I believe Slapper Bars should always make contact with the eye of the leaf spring. If you continue the bars past this point you will run the risk of creating suspension bind.
