Well it was requested early for an engine bay shot, now I guess we won't be needing to request an under-carriage shot.
Congrats Joe on the PB and the Massive Wheelstand. Thats nuts!
I can almost predict a cult following/status erupting soon, ie VL turbo style but heaps of fast Cortina's!!

not much bigger, its only a 200 cuber remember!! have you guys seen how quick darren hunters 1.8ltr gemini brings a t04z up on stall. no gas and just as quick as this cortina. head work, engine combo, ex manifold, turbo choice and last and almost the most important part the converter plays a big big role in it all.
some of the best wheelstands ever there. killer car, killer combo. working very well.

Big well done to Joe Gauci on a tremedous effort in this car and what is next inline for this thing i presume BA turbo motor ??
BTW bigpsi the above quote is abit contradicting seeing as JPC are using nitrous on paul staneks skyline racecar.
They have also fitted nos to there vl racecar are they planning to use it the full track aswell.
BTW well done to Joe Gauci on a tremedous effort in this car and what is next inline for this thing i presume BA turbo motor ??.

Bit contradicting seeing as JPC are using nitrous on paul staneks skyline racecar and most likely on there own vl racecar isnt it.

Please keep these threads on topic guys.
If you want to talk VL dribble, go back to the CT forum with all your other Aliases.

A friend who knows him confirmed it also, he stated there maybe just a little bit more left in it as they were using a new boost controller and it wasnt quite sorted out. They have a little bit left in the way of boost!

Is Joe still running the crossflow motor?
Any updates on this car?
He was at the True Blue meeting at Calder a week back, saw it go 8.62 I think?
as far as i know this car runs a destroked 250 crossflow engine, it is one of the best 6 cyl drag cars doing the rounds thats for sure
oooohhhhhhhh

yeah down to 200 i think
