BAHAHAHA no there still my "other" wheels...although now with my new found power and "Robbies" wheels on from a standing start it will bake them right into Overdrive while the ute is still only doing about 40...well I think its 40 I dont know for sure my speedo is reading ALOT more than that..:D

nice cars people...i'm new to the site just joined up tonight. very cool. here's my beast...My00 Subaru Impreza, Cannon Exhaust, STI Strut Brace, Lowered 2",17" ANZ chomes, $2000 sound system which includes Sony headunit, all new speakers + 2 x 12" kicker subs and 2 amps obviously. goes pretty good but needs more low down grunt...

stall converter, 3" tailshaft, 9" with 31 spline mosser axles and romac full spool
and 3.9 richmond gear set, the car also has a 3/4 chassis with leaf springs for
the street registablity, the car is half way throught its enginering stage and
has has the approaval of princable papers to be street registed..

Yeah plenty quick enough for my needs anyway! Though the LS1s are certainly looking the way to go for cheap and very quick times, my finances didn't quite extend that far when I bought the Soarer haha. That said I wonder how quick the new SS Commodores will go with a few mods, 12.9s out of the box bloody hell, times have certainly changed.
Love the pics of the RX3, the first one driving along is the best.

That is one very very nice XY you have there.. CHI heads? What's the go with the 9" center looks a bit trick.. Do you get it to the track? If so what times have you got and how many horses are under there? So many questions I sound like a cop lol. Well done nice car..

They are actually AFD heads, I have a new TFC single plane high rise sitting at home, just looking for a decent carby for it.

The rear is 9" full spool, Moser 31 spline billet axels, Mark Williams Billet pinion support, etc...

Haven't taken it to WSID yet, I will once the new manifold and carby are on, I also have a set of 4 into 1 1 7/8 pri, 3" collectors to go on aswell. Then I will get her dyno'd and take it out.

I am entered in Powercruise in March so that is my deadline to get it tuned, ready to destory the 3 sets of tyres I have!! ;)

being tuned atm for powercruise, is hinted by my tuner to make a large amount of power, but i will have to strap it down on the rollers at the creek to prove it haha... im guna try and get a dual map thingy goin so i can run pump fuel for the occasional street cruise.

ONE PROBLEM... I only have the stock 5 speed behind it atm.. hahaha
just need to get my bonnet and new bumper painted and finish the tuning and yay here we come powercruise!

Nice LJ very nice but man get yaself a set of webbers for it.. It will look better but most of all it will go so much better.. Been there with the SU's they are the worst. Been there with the CD's heaps better and Webbers well what can I say unreal.. Still looks good and I bet goes good to Well done..

No i am using a friends computer as mines getting fixed
only have a few old shots of the car on this one up loaded, its just a old strata 5 draw through 750holley t04-b with a usa built water /alcohol injetion
its slowly coming together as it takes time to find the right parts!

That isnt crap that is nice, all you need to do is get her slammed, shes riding abit higher than my dads 4wd, but i cant say much mine needs to be lowered aswell and jason needs to get the arse down on his ute. I am a sucker for hyper mica tho, comes up real tidy when has a god wash and polish. But you may have the same issues as me.......NO MONEY!!!

lol yeah I had considered dumping it but its already cop bait enough as it is :P

if i lowered it id just attract more cops

and that wouldnt be good seeing as I dont have a muffler :P

here is my pride and joy, ive been building it for a while ran it last wednesday
10.40 at 121 im proud of it. id been chasing it for years and finally reach it. im changing the gears from 4.11 to 3,7 to get my mile an hour up it shoud brake 9s it has 620 at the treads.
