"2 of our own qualified in FL. and Scranton makes it too the semis.Former NHRA Xplōd Sport Compact Racing Series champion Matt Scranton (pictured) qualified in his POWERade debut for the Pro Stock field at the ACDelco NHRA Gatornationals in Gainesville, Fla., then defeated the class' winningest driver, Warren Johnson, and Erica Enders to reach the semifinals, where he lost to former NHRA Pro Stock champ Greg Anderson. Former NHRA Xplōd Modified champ Humphreys also made the field, on the bump spot, but was defeated in the first round by Anderson.
