View Full Version : N12 Pulsar from Sweden
This bloke has done some massive upgrades, now runs a 915hp SR20.

Has yet to run the 40psi in it, but still managed 10.18 at 146mph with plenty of issues. Once again, it's still a shock horror mobile

Hehe, Hi guys.
Glad you like it... =)
I was just passing by to see if there was any new cool stuff here on fullboost,
and saw there was a new forum...
...hum, nice, checked it out and found this. =D
It is now off season in Sweden so now Im planning to take the engineback to the dyno for some tuning,
upgrading the chassies some and have a good time.
Next race I will run with it will probably be in the beginning of may 2007.
If you check my webpage dont miss out the film-clips.
If youre tired of getting codecs or if you for some reason cant get the clip to work
Ive put it on videogoogle too: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-5976236770463368895&q=hot+wok+racing

btw.
Imagine my suprice when I first launched of in my first run after rebuilding it during two years!
I had never even tested putting the pedal to the metal until the first burnout.
The car was so reacently put together we didnt have time for any test driving at all apart from me running at 15kmh outside the garage... =)
First run actually went away in complete shame.
The engine refused to rev past 3500rpm and I passed the finnish line after about 30sec.
The second atempt I ran amazingly 1,51s in 60ft time! (10,89 at 402m)
That was WILD! =D
-Ran 1,7 in 60ft time in the 10,18-run and those of you who can count
can easily see what would have hapened if that was a 1,51 in 60ft time instead.
What gearbox/shafts are you using.?

I use a Volvo 850 Turbo gearbox with a Quife diff.
I had stock Volvo 850 shafts and joints, but one joint broke inside the diff and damaged it
10 minutes before we should have loaded the car on our truck to go to the absolutely last race of the season...
...and when thinking of it, it was my very first joint ever. =)
I have destroyed loads of diffs when I had E15ET engine and gearbox, but never one single joint until now.
I will get new axles and joints from a company that makes loads of heavy dutys during the winter.
Right now the car is participating in an exibition called Street cars fest in stockholm.
Today a team from Mtv Sweden made an interview with me.
I promise to do what I can to record it and make it available.
A local TV station interviewed me too and some papers might come tomorrow to take some photos. =)

Quaife diff? that must've cost you a fortune. I've been following the build up of this cherry since I bought my first car (N12 ET Turbo), and congratulations on winning taht award at Street Cars Fest in Stockhom. You deserve it.
Also, do you have any plans for the other N12's you have?

Yeah, the diff really costed a fortune... =)
I payed almost 3000 AUD for it. Nowdays they cost about 1500AUD (of course)
I had the car at another autosaloon called Svenska Bilsport Mässan.

I got price for best put together engine. =)
I have one (in my opinion stock) N12 that I use as an everyday ride with 160bhp
It has battery in boot, relocated and rebuilt afm, malpassi rr fpr, bosch fuel pump, and so on.
One of the two other N12turbos I have is under a stage of rebuild for selling.
Shifted pistons, rings, bearings, turbo, exhaust syst. brakes, and a number of electrical errors.
Need cash for the moment. =)
The third normal N12turbo I have is something I got for free from a friend.
However It seems hard to get the papers for that car.
It was basicly stripped on everything in front of the wind shield exept fenders, bumper and main brake cylinder.
Luckily for me I had all parts in my basement.
I even had enough parts to replace the main wiring harness (that was cut in pieces)
The only thing missing on it now is the papers, so it will be a bit hard to sell...
I also have a N12 N/A, but thats just to take parts from... =)
