Back in the glory days of heathcote's rotor rivals and all performance challange, sa nats etc of 2002/2003 these cars were always permanent fixtures as well as at their associated states weekly street meets... but then they just sort of dissapeared.
anyone know where they are now?

It was neck and neck for ages....8.8's together and then TRP just took off and DBRONX stopped racing....

Last year at Compak Attak the DBRONX WRX had its new $110,000 aluminium engine it from the USA so it should be comming out again.
The owner of DBRONX jumped ship from the V&E Rigoli workshop, then stopped racing so who know's...
MADPSI will be back in the not too distant future, as the owner has been concentrating with the build of another car for a while.
Looks of all the photos the V8 boys have gorn out and burnt them lol. There must be some quick rotors sitting under cover somewhere. Hope they all get back out but..
Michael Dyson's old silver RX3 was sold to someone in Queensland then sold to NZ. I saw it whilst over there wearing a camoflague sticker job, and I don't think it has been raced. :eek:

hey mate last i heard of madpsi is that its hidding in a secret location...under covers...pitty the cover was up abit so the plates were visible lol. it was said on another forum that John Gonzales has just built a vx? gts with sum big set-up or sumthing.
i personally would like to know what ever happened to CGMJET? use to love that thing, XRTAGM, DIH-382 all the vl's of the earlier days.

find pic's and put some up of the cars you want... ive heard some of the plates, but if i see the cars it normaly makes it easier to link them to where they are now.
couldnt find any of CGMJET so if any1 has one throw it up.

is the beige one the same car but with different plates?
I know of a similar beige car that gas747 had, then my mate dave bought, then sold to a another guy who ripped out all the running gear and i think the shell was either sent to sims or sold on again.
dats interesting u say gas747 use to own it as i know a paul did own it. both different cars man. the last i ever heard of dih382 was sum guy bought it and was flipping nuts in it and the wheel came off? lol cant remember which forum it was on.

well if the DIH one is a different car and its the one paul use to own, then its probably the one that my mate bought off him. First week of owning it was doing a bit of this and that in an industrial estate and clipped a gutter and broke an axle/bent the control arm a little and the axle housing. Wasnt anything too major, but he sold it straight after that. was a good tuff car!!

same car man, remember reading on his website? took it off the trailer had a dilema and sold the car very soon after buying it. I just called my mate and he told me the guys name was dave and that he sold the car like a week after buying it.
sik car ran 11's but was a sleeper, couldnt even tell it was turbo. remember this thing at the nats few years back sk8ing.
dih n xrta r different coz i remember seeing xrta at northlands once a week dropping doses thru the carpark when i was like 16 and dih was also around at the same time

yeah his name is dave. xrtagm is definately another car, i know that much.
The car busted the axle and i fixed it, he drove it home and it was put on a trailer of a mate of gas747's a few weeks later. Car was very clean, but had been in the wars all its life as far as i can remember (paul had a few acco's in it too).
even still, had heaps of respect for it, my mate still obsesses over the fullboost video which focuses on the monster, and boost gauge, still watch it every now and then.
IGNITE pav's rx4 will be out at calder asap.
now has a bigger turbo and a new engine now.
boostronics is his business he is a auto elec.

As a freind of pav i know for sure the RX4 will be back out soon, been trying different things so should come back bigger and better than ever. The 323 however you can all forget about that is all dun and dusted unles someone buys the car it will never be back .
Also herd a rumor the PROMAZ R100 will be back out possibily next week weather permitting.

Last I heard the car had been bought by MR CRX and he was transferring the running gear into a s2000 prorwd car. The chassis of the ute was for sale on ausrotary a while back.
I can also say that RVTONV will be back out on the track hopefully by the end of the month. Just waiting for a tune to be completed.......

chris agras sold the ute awhile back.
But has purchased the old barbie m3 and has had a 20b, liberty combo fitted by mazsport and will hit the track again this weekend.

Vlads old white 808 was bought by me a few years back but the deal went south and i moved the car a long way south also and its back to how it was first raced(draw through 55 weber etc) and is sitting on stands in my mums garage and will stay there.

the street sweeper went the way of many of the cars of its time. It was written off at a friday night street meet (rolled thou the traps if my memory

thanks for clearing that up. gone are the days of serious street racing in dandenong in the 70s and 80s the main street was full off tough streeters. both sides of the highway were full from hungry jacks (kfc now) to the town hall. cars were being dropt off by tilt trays in the side streets and cops had no power over the sheer weight of numbers.

Although it will never be like that again, it hasnt disappeared.
Where are they now ? Hahahaha you are right...It is a different Car. Its been a while.... been under covers... A good freshen up on the Dyno and my Brothers Car XRTAGM is back.... Heathcote On Sunday just passed. Never sold it, never smashed it never had a change of hands and it is definately not the same car. Same owner for Ten years... Went 10.64 on the weekend... Check out the Heathcote photos on the Website for thse interested...
hopefully my car (MERCY RX3) will be making a comeback in the next 3-4 months (after 5 years)to show there are a few of us rotor drag racers left in Vic
damn it's frustrating watching all these guys having so much fun while i saved up to get my car where i want it
not that anyone asked but i'm just getting a little bit excited about getting back in my car:D:D
